To comply with social distancing, to protect other patients and staff we request you attend a face to face appointment either alone or with one support person only.

Where appropriate appointments are being converted to Telehealth (either video call or telephone). With the latest change to the Health Insurance Act legislation, you may be charged a private fee or bulk billed as decided by your specialist.

New referrals will be triaged by the specialist and you will be notified as to the most appropriate consultation. This will be done as soon as possible.

Please allow at least 48 hours for script/pathology forms to be sent out after a telehealth appointment (unless urgent and your doctor will ask staff to process on that day).

At Fertility Tasmania we know that part of your journey to parenthood may involve gathering lots of information. As a result we are happy to provide our information sessions. We regularly hold free seminars and webinars that are designed to give you all of the information you need to start your family.

We cover topics such as ‘Egg Donation’, ‘Preparing for Pregnancy’, ‘Assisting Natural Conception’ and address specific conditions such as ‘Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome (PCOS)’ and ‘Endometriosis’. Through this program we are also able to provide further understanding about our science and technology.
