Founder of Fertility Tasmania | Fertility Specialist | Obstetrician & Gynaecologist
Dr Irena Nikakis is a Specialist Obstetrician and Gynaecologist and the Founder of Fertility Tasmania. With a special interest in fertility and recurrent pregnancy loss, she is committed to providing evidence-based, personalised care to Tasmanian women and families. Dr Nikakis combines advanced clinical expertise with a compassionate, patient-centred approach to support individuals and couples at every stage of their fertility journey.
Dr. Stephen Bradford, FRANZCOG
Obstetrician & Gynaecologist | Fertility Specialist
Dr Stephen Bradford, FRANZCOG is an Obstetrician, Gynaecologist and Fertility Specialist with over a decade of experience in women’s reproductive health. With advanced training in reproductive endocrinology, IVF and minimally invasive surgery, he provides personalised, evidence-based care to support individuals and couples on their fertility journey. Known for his calm and supportive approach, Dr Bradford is committed to ensuring every patient feels informed, respected and cared for.

Obstetrician & Gynaecologist | Fertility Specialist
Dr Sajid Patel, FRANZCOG is a Specialist Obstetrician, Gynaecologist and Fertility Specialist, and the Medical Director of the Women’s and Children’s Clinic at the Royal Hobart Hospital. With extensive experience in advanced laparoscopy, endometriosis management and fertility care, Dr Patel provides considered, evidence-based treatment tailored to each patient’s needs. Do I Need a Referral?
A referral is not required to see our doctors. However, obtaining a referral from your GP or specialist will allow you to claim a Medicare rebate. Most GPs will send referrals directly to us. If not, please bring your referral to your appointment or scan and email it to us at info@fertilitytasmania.com.au.
