Egg Donation
Get in touch if you are considering Egg Donation
Egg donation involves using In Vitro Fertilisation (IVF) techniques to obtain eggs from the ovaries of a female donor. These eggs are then fertilised with sperm from the recipient’s partner, and a resulting embryo is placed into the recipient’s uterus. When there is a child born from the donation, the child will be genetically related to the recipient’s male partner and the egg donor, but not to the female recipient.
Patients are able to recruit their own donors . Recipient recruited egg donors can either be a close friend, family member or located through advertising.
Our association with the Monash IVF Group, also opens up great opportunities for patients who require egg donation in order to have a family. Please discuss this option with our dedicated team.
